Freedman Financial Planning works with people from all walks of life, providing financial planning and advice for everyday life. We are a “fee only” firm, which means no product commissions
or other third-party compensation is ever received. |
| Freedman Financial Planning is not affiliated with a brokerage firm, insurance company, or other financial institution. Because of this, we are not influenced
by commissions, sales incentives, or referral fees when we make our recommendations. Instead, we work for the client on an hourly basis. As a Registered Investment Adviser in the state
of California, we are legally and ethically held to a fiduciary standard to put our client’s interests first. |

Freedman Financial Planning is a member of the Garrett Planning Network, which is an international network
of fee-only financial planners dedicated to making commission-free advice available to everyone on an hourly, as-needed basis. Members bring the collective wisdom of the entire network
– comprised of over 300 financial planning and allied professionals – to their own individual practices. |

Cynthia Freedman is the founder of Freedman Financial Planning. As a candidate for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, she has earned a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning through
University of California Santa Cruz and has passed the CFP® certification exam. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Santa Clara University, California.
Cynthia has also enjoyed a successful career as a Software Engineer, employed by various companies under contract to NASA Ames Research Center in California.
With a background in mathematics and a career in software design, Cynthia has strong analytical skills and has extensive experience in designing streamlined solutions to solve problems
or to accomplish a goal. She moved from software engineering into the financial planning field because of her passion for personal financial management. She has a sincere desire to help
you maximize your wealth and make your dreams a reality. |
